Chateau Bellenau is just around the block, near Dead Mans Corner Museum. According to the legend this was the first chateau liberated during D-Day.

Floating Dock at Utah Beach - Devil is in the detail

You know about the Mulberry Harbor at Vierville-sur-Mer, Omaha Beach, that got washed away in a storm. And you sure know about the Mulberry Harbor at Arromanches.

But this loading/unloading dock is at Utah Beach. A tidal dock. These great images speak for themselves.

What do you think? Did he beg, borrow or nick the helmet? Or is he an Airborne liaison? His whole posturing makes us think he borrowed the helmet.
